COFFEE WITH A LILAC TREE COUNSELOR

Free Program! Join one of our Lilac Tree Counselors for a coffee (or tea!) and chat in a one-time small group format (max. 8 clients) via Zoom offering general conversation, connection, and support for coping through separation, divorce.

All welcome, though sessions are gender specific.

Pop-Up Support series

Join one of our Lilac Tree Staff for a one-time interactive Support Group type discussion focused around a topic or title or stage of the process. These are 1 meeting only, support-based interactive group meetings, and are limited to 8 or 9 attendees. For Women - Navigating Life After Divorce

1st Wednesday of the Month (mostly!)

A different and more informal format than our webinars, join us for a conversation with our Guest Professional of the Month to hear a little bit of presented information and lot of Q&A. All meetings will be held via zoom, not recorded but expected to be interactive and supportive.

APRIL 8 12noon - 1pm

Topic: Foundations for Finance and Mortgages

Guest Professional: Karth Barr, Producing Branch Manager, Union Home Mortgage Corporation. Join us for a chat and conversation with Karth, a passionate advocate for financial education and empowerment, who happens to be also be an experienced Mortgage Broker.

Cost is $25 (this is reduced from $45 to $25 thanks to a generous donor!).

Please Note:

• These groups are meant for any woman - but especially those who are finished (or almost finished) with the legal elements of their process and /or someone who feels ready to face and learn about a new stage of life.

• The meetings focus mostly on the practical elements of navigating a life post divorce or separation, including creating your new identity, developing boundaries as a co-parent, taking care of yourself, finding new passions, focus and friends, managing a single household budget/finances, preparing to sell or stage your house etc.

• You can attend any meeting you want, as many meetings as you want, when you want.

• Let us know if you would like a specific topic and we will try to arrange that!

• UPCOMING MEETINGS:

  • Will Mostly (*except during holidays) be the 1st WEDNESDAY of the Month

  • Lunchtimes 12pm - 1pm or Afternoons 4pm - 5pm (it varies)
