Judge Grace G. Dickler (Ret.) was, and still is, the heart and soul of the divorce community in Illinois. She was the backbone of Cook County as Presiding Judge for over 10 years, pivotal in introducing mediation to the court system for families, and guiding us all with courage and calm through the pandemic. Now retired from the bench, she is still busy, working for JAMS as a Mediator.

Judge Dickler (Ret.) has been a volunteer for The Lilac Tree for over 15 years and remains passionate about our work, supportive programs and mission.
