Facing separation, contemplating options, taking a first step toward a divorce or trekking through a divorce can be a challenging, isolating, and sometimes a vulnerable period in your life. Be Supported!

Lilac Tree Support Groups are:

• Peer-based Support Groups offering emotional shelter and respite in a compassionate, safe, structured, and supportive environment,

• Always Virtual and never recorded keeping you safe and confidential.

• Facilitated by our experienced and qualified Lilac Tree Counselors who are Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW).

• Empowering! Finding community, friendship and support from other people at the same stage of the process, facing similar challenges provides a supportive and positive environment from which to share, learn and grow.

• For Anyone, Any Stage of the Process. We offer Support Groups regardless of gender identity, however, each group is single gender.

• Cost Accessible at $45 a meeting. Fee Assistance is available on a limited first come, first served for each group.

• Limited in Size and Varied in Length. We offer 4-week, 6-week and 8-week groups, as well as topical groups.

For Women - Contemplating

• FRIDAY Afternoon - Starts MARCH - General Group: Contemplating (or facing) Separation / Divorce 12pm - 1pm (4 weeks) $45 per meeting, total cost $180 ***NEW Group - Just Opened, 4 spaces open

For Women - Starting or In The Process

• MONDAY Lunchtime - Starts MARCH - Topic Group: Getting Started with the Process 12noon - 1pm (4 weeks) $45 per meeting, total cost $180. ***NEW Group - Just ADDED - 4 spaces open

• THURSDAY Late Morning - Starts MARCH / ASAP - TOPIC Group: Leaving Someone with Narcissistic Tendencies 11:30am - 1pm (6 weeks) $45 per meeting, total cost $270. ***PROGRAM FULL

• WEDNESDAY Morning - Starts APRIL - TOPIC Group: Mothers (with Minor Children) 10am - 11:30am (8 weeks) $45 per meeting, total cost $360. ***NEW GROUP - just opened - 6 spaces open

Extra things to know about our Support Groups:

START DATES

Start dates are expected and only finalized when the group is full. All groups are run via Zoom and are managed by a Lilac Tree staff member or volunteer supporting the counselor when possible. All Zoom rooms are waiting room enabled, start on time and regular attendance is required,

COSTS

Costs vary depending on length, size, and topic of the group. We are always adapting to client needs and ideas and we vary groups and thus costs. In general all meetings are $45, and payment is expected before the start of the group, but can be split into 2 half payments (commitment payment and 2nd payment). Payment plans or fee assistance can been arranged - just ask! Our Ila Chaiken Scholarship Fund offers partial fee assistance for each group on a first come, first served basis.

REFUND POLICY

Please note that we are unable to issue refunds, even for Commitment Payments, once a group start date is confirmed and communicated to a group, unless the space is able to be filled before the group begins.
